Our boat Ta Mana sold! Currently we do not offer charters! A Day on the Bay For the highlight of your visit to the San Francisco area experience a sailing trip on the world famous "Bay". Whether sailors or landlubbers, guests can take a turn at the helm of the 36 foot cutter Ta Mana. The tour starts at Sausalito and covers the Central Bay. Guests may express their preferences for specific destinations, like sailing out of "The Gate" (however, the effects of ebb and flood have to be taken into consideration). Your guides are Cptn. Bernard and Jörg. Bernard has been sailing the Bay for many years and holds an USCG Masters Certificate. A typical trip lasts about 4 hours (give or take - we enjoy sailing too) and can be extended if so desired. Special event: San Francisco Fleet Week 2009 Get a close look at the airshow directly from the water (there are 2 airshows - Saturday 10/10/09 and Sunday 10/11/09) Our rates are very reasonable: Up to 4 passengers $350.00 Each additional passenger $50.00 Charter rates include fuel and captain. 6 passengers maximum. Ferry service between San Francisco and Sausalito is available from the Ferry Terminal at the foot of Market Street and also from Pier 39 / Fisherman's Wharf. Dress in layers, as our weather on the Bay can be cool. A hat or visor, sunglasses and sun block are strongly advised. Please wear non-skid, soft-soled shoes.
